Maintenance, development, and migration of RCS back-end systems (Corriere, Gazzetta, periodicals) to Google Cloud Platform, including incident management and support during testing.
Resolution of issues and implementation of changes related to the back-end applications managing the functionalities of Corriere, Gazzetta, and the RCS Group’s periodicals. Responsibilities include handling incident reports both during office hours and on-call shifts, maintaining and evolving the back-end software, preparing several Java applications for migration from Azure to Google Cloud Platform by creating Dockerfiles, cleaning up applications, and collaborating with system administrators during testing phases on the new environments.

I developed an application for downloading default images from Instagram posts, with the ability to save them both locally and on S3, Amazon AWS’s storage service. It includes functionality to log the performed operations, storage paths, and resource usage in an Oracle database. The application leverages the following technologies: Java 8, Maven, Hibernate, Oracle Database, log4j, and the Amazon SDK.
