Auriga Cash Management is the flagship application of Auriga’s Milan BU that allows bank customers to optimize the costs related to the management of cash available in ATMs.
The application collects information on the current status of all ATMs in the area, and provides an analysis and projection of ATM liquidity needs. Based on these projections, it automatically issues orders to cash-in-transit service providers in order to optimize transportation costs and the amount of cash available in ATMs. Particular attention was paid to the design of the application in order to obtain a highly scalable and configurable product that can be adapted to the needs of different banks. The final product is a cloud-ready application that can also be installed on premise in virtual environments or on application servers.

In the last few years I have been involved in the design and implementation of systems using microservices architectures implemented using frameworks such as Spring Cloud and Netflix OSS.
